Professional Experience
Executive Leadership
Over the past two decades, I have led engineering, manufacturing, commercial and business transformation initiatives across the global power systems industry. My experience spans Fortune 100 organizations, private equity environments and privately held businesses, with responsibility for engineering, product development, operations, sales, strategy and profit and loss management.
Throughout my career, I have been drawn to complex situations where performance has plateaued, objectives have become fragmented or traditional approaches have reached their limits. Rather than optimizing individual functions in isolation, I have focused on redesigning systems around clear objectives, aligning engineering, commercial strategy and operations to create sustainable improvements in profitability, customer value and organizational capability.
This systems perspective has led transformations ranging from improving forecast accuracy from 24% to 95%, reducing inventory by 41%, increasing market share from 5% to 10%, delivering more than $100 million in revenue growth, and leading organizations responsible for over $1 billion in annual revenue. Equally important has been building teams, developing future leaders and creating organizations capable of sustaining those improvements long after individual projects have concluded.
Today, my executive experience continues to inform my research, writing and advisory work. The questions explored throughout The Third Path are grounded not only in theory, but in practical experience leading organizations through technical, commercial and strategic change.
